Board Of Directors

Clean Water for Haiti is a registered foundation in Haiti that works in partnership with the CWH Foundation of Canada and Clean Water for Haiti US. We have a dedicated group of men and women from three countries that serve as board members. They work together as a Joint Committee to help provide oversight, accountability, and guidance as we work to accomplish the goals and mandates of the organization.

Nothing that is accomplished in Haiti would be possible without the people that choose to serve in this role. We are always on the look out for people that might make a great addition to our team. Meet Our Board Members

Johnson Alexandre

Clean Water for Haiti Foundation, Haiti

Alexandre is retired from the Haiti National Police and worked for over a decade as a consultant and operations manager for Clean Water for Haiti. In 2022 he was asked to step into the role of Executive Director for Haiti to manage day to day operations. He provides much insight to our Board of Directors from a Haitian perspective.

Courtney Blackburn

Clean Water for Haiti, US

Courtney lives in Florida with her husband Anthony, their rescue dogs, and a farm of horses. She is Chief Marketing Officer at First Federal Bank, and a small business owner. Courtney is honored to serve CWH’s mission of helping families gain access to clean water.

Geoffrey Comber

Clean Water for Haiti, US

Geoffrey lives in New Mexico with his wife Debbie and their family, and works as an Engineer with the Intel Corporation. As an adoptive parent Geoffrey has visited Haiti several times and has seen the need for access to clean water first hand.

Bob Crozier

CWH Foundation, Canada

Bob works with the homeless and marginalized through the John Howard Society in British Columbia, where he lives with his wife Bev.

Erin Elder

CWH Foundation, Canada

Erin lives in British Columbia where she works as a certified accountant. When not working and helping her husband run their towing company she enjoys traveling. Erin’s accounting expertise and familiarity with Canada’s charity laws have been invaluable as we lead the organization.

John Finegan

Clean Water for Haiti, US

John lives in California with his wife Julie. Before retiring from the corporate world John served as CFO for several small companies. Along with business management experience, John has an engineering degree in water management and experience working with other international non-profits.

Shawna Haak

CWH Foundation, Canada

Shawna lives in Enderby, BC, where her and her husband, Michael, run a dairy farm. Before joining our Board of Directors Shawna actively supported CWH through fundraisers and helping promote our work. Beyond their support of CWH, Shawna and Michael also grew their family several years ago when they became the adoptive parents of two amazing Haitian children.

Carlita Harbidge

CWH Foundation, Canada

Carlita and her husband Ryan live in Alberta where they run their own painting company. Carlita has served on CWH’s Board of Directors for several years both as Secretary and President. With two children adopted from Haiti she has a desire to support families in very practical ways.

Chris Rolling

Clean Water for Haiti Foundation, Haiti

Chris was our Executive Director for two decades, and lived in Haiti for all of that time. Along with his wife Leslie, he grew CWH into the organization it is today. Along with helping to shape Clean Water for Haiti’s programs, Chris led several design projects to improve the filter and several of its components. His experience and insight is invaluable to our organization.

Leslie Rolling

Clean Water for Haiti Foundation, Haiti

Leslie lived and worked alongside Chris in Haiti as our Administrative Director for 17 years before stepping into the role of Executive Director for Canada and the US. Her many years of work and raising a family in Haiti bring a lot of experience and insight to our Board.

Dr. Ashley Thomson

Clean Water for Haiti, US

Ashley lives in Washington, DC, with her family. She is the Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast University, but is currently on sabbatical and working with the UN. Ashley has studied biosand filter technology and brings a professional academic perspective to our Board of Directors.
